Son Father Music not necessarily in that order

Son trying to be like their father is a mythical story. That emotion is so much more complex and leans on competition rather than imitation. Our classic stories contain many examples of sons trying their darn hardest to imitate their father. Most fail and efforts turns into toxic brew of hate and violence.

It is not just a story of myth and classic. It is daily toil and joy by most man. Fuck boy feminist. Useless, scourge of mankind. It is viewed only 18 million times so most man hasn't seen it. But then it is only impactful at certain age or time of one's life.

Music is different thing to different people. I for one is a lyric person. It is the meaning of the music that means most. But I have met basshead and metal, many different people who are most focused on other things than lyric. It is in fact an odd thing, I saw a nicest well sheltered caucasian girl in her early 20 trying to memorize a rap song. Basically she was quietly repeating, rape that biatch and shove the fist up her ass. It was a surreal moment that I will carry to my death.

Imagine, a college student at UCLA. Well raised and properly dressed and spoken. Lovely girl in all aspect. Yes Blonde too. Spending her energy trying to learn and adapt absolutely trash culture of inner city hip-hop and rap. I grew up in the inner city. There is nothing rescuable there. Demise of a culture and good was all right there.

Monsters. It is my only James Blunt music I listen to so it is not like I enjoy his music. But it comforts this old man. When a man grows up it is really no longer and father and son thing. It is no longer about responsibility. Just a man for another man. That is what being an adult is. Most of human culture created a celebration for boy becoming a man. That is lost. There is no longer a culture in America. It is destroyed. Fuck boy feminist. Most boys no longer realize they are an adult. Military has a way to punch the boys into adult but military is sub-culture. Most boys no longer consider military part of thought.

I wish you find a group a community that let you be a man with all its good and bad. It is best thing in the world and what makes human kind what it is. Fight on boys. At the end of the day, your days will come again and girls will celebrate that with you. Time has come that you have to be a man and take the torch and use it not to burn the village but to light and defend it.

It starts by realizing that your old man is just a man. And you have become a man like that old man. This realization should come at 18.. but alas It is now a days 23 year old thing after college.. but college now does a fucking thing of turning  boys into a Peter Pan instead of a man.... fuck education professionals.. fuck them all. they are makers of scourge to humankind..  Education is should be limited to reading, writing and critical thinking. American Public Education K-12 is a failure factory. Higher Ed is a socialist indoctrination camp.

We are at a point where it is no longer rescuable. It must be demolished and re-created. Greeks taught rhetoric, grammar and logic. The focus of education has to get back to this basic and rest let life teach. Rest has to be taught outside of public education. Education professionals are scourges of mankind. Fuck them all.

Many times I find myself completely misinterpreting the writing. I went through brain exercises about that. My conclusion was that authors true intent didn't mean much. Most of the time he was enlightened with one thing but not with other. They may in fact focse of wrong theme or even miss the main point of their point entirely. So screw the artist. Make it your own.

Monsters - James Blunt

Oh, before they turn off all the lights
I won't read you your wrongs or your rights
The time has gone
I'll tell you goodnight, close the door
Tell you I love you once more
The time has gone
So here it is

I'm not your son, you're not my father
We're just two grown men saying goodbye
No need to forgive, no need to forget
I know your mistakes and you know mine
And while you're sleeping I'll try to make you proud
So, daddy, won't you just close your eyes?
Don't be afraid, it's my turn
To chase the monsters away

Oh, well, I'll read a story to you
Only difference is this one is true
The time has gone
I folded your clothes on the chair
I hope you sleep well, don't be scared
The time has gone
So here it is

I'm not your son, you're not my father
We're just two grown men saying goodbye
No need to forgive, no need to forget
I know your mistakes and you know mine
And while you're sleeping I'll try to make you proud
So, daddy, won't you just close your eyes?
Don't be afraid, it's my turn
To chase the monsters away

Sleep a lifetime
Yes, and breathe a last word
You can feel my hand on your own
I will be the last one
So I'll leave a light on
Let there be no darkness, in your heart

But I'm not your son, you're not my father
We're just two grown men saying goodbye
No need to forgive, no need to forget
I know your mistakes and you know mine
And while you're sleeping I'll try to make you proud
So, daddy, won't you just close your eyes?
Don't be afraid, it's my turn
To chase the monsters away
