I watch Chinese drama. I love wushu series. One of the problem with it is that they are very long regularly 52 episodes. Long is usually good. But since I do not speak Mandarin I have to focus and read the subtitles. It is exhausting experience.
Most video now a days come with subtitles. And we now have speech technology that can read very fluently. It should be matter of matching subtitle to the timing and have the software read in real time so I don't have to strain my eye.
This is something that can be done now.
I do not wear watch. Most of us do not wear watch. There was time not to long ago when we didn't have access to time readily. It wasn't too long ago. It was only advent of iPhone that made watch useless. It wasn't cell phone. It was iPhone. iPhone was "invented" and released 2007. So it was only 14 years ago.
Oddly with the claim of death of watch in 2007. I now waar watch and many of us now wear watch again. And it is Apple Watch. It is no longer a tool of time but tool to monitor ourselves. A tool to be alerted with. So we wear watch again.

Writing is a critical skillset.

I write very very poorly. I understood when my last English teacher pointed out my poor writing skill. I have tried many times moreover to write better and as you can see I constantly try.
Son trying to be like their father is a mythical story. That emotion is so much more complex and leans on competition rather than imitation. Our classic stories contain many examples of sons trying their darn hardest to imitate their father. Most fail and efforts turns into toxic brew of hate and violence.
It is not just a story of myth and classic. It is daily toil and joy by most man. Fuck boy feminist. Useless, scourge of mankind. It is viewed only 18 million times so most man hasn't seen it. But then it is only impactful at certain age or time of one's life.
Declarative language is extremely powerful concept. You declare your data model and view model. You throw you data into it and comes out a working app. T'hat's basic clugs of it and it really works this way.
I had tried to learn to code GUI app. First with Atari and Then with Windows. At the time, all we know how to was to create interrupts and deal with interrupt handling. GUI being an interactive environment with keyboard and mouse it seemed natural. But I just couldn't wrap my mind to create a application who purpose in life was to wait for event and respond.
Sad thing about life

Baggage that we got from those that don't care and we drop them off on our loved ones. Because they care. Because they accept.

On an airplane, I had an opportunity to chat with a boy. He was flying to see his father. Question at the time was why do we need iPad, iPhone and MBP. Can't we just use iPhone for all things.
It was a debate certain individuals were entertaining themselves with.

You see there are letter size paper. There are index cards, Ther are business cards. They are all just papers. Or are they. Only major difference is the size so why should I use letter size paper to take note. Use Index card for all.
